Fake Killpens:
Question: What do you do if you are receiving welfare payments, have very little job skills, have seven misdemeanor convictions, but you want to make money?
Answer: You start a fake Kill Pen page on Facebook!
Let’s look at “Emily McKinney”, whose legal name is “Emily C Grubbs”, she used to broker for Kauffman, Bowie and North Texas Kill Pen, had falling out with these brokers and “hung out her own shingle” and created a fake Kill Pen page titled: Lone Star Kill Pen.
From her 3.2 acre residential property, she posts horses that supposedly ship to slaughter, horses that she simply recycles through a local auction if they don’t sell. She also buys horses from that auction.
Because Emily can’t have the welfare office find out that she is taking in $100K per year from flipping horses, all of the PayPal transactions go through a “Zeb Smith” who in reality is a guy named “Zebulin J Smith” who lives in Heber City, Utah now, and is the husband of Elisha Gimenez, also in Utah now, and who was involved in prior kill pen scams and was also a board member of Scarlet’s Legacy Equine Rescue. This is the “rescue” that moved from Nevada to Texas and had their horses taken away (50 were dead in a pit.) But she was also the paid person running the Kaufman Kill Pen page for Mike McBarron. Looks like she and her husband have found a way to stay relevant in the Texas kill pen broker sales all the way from Utah!
After all, they all make about $100K per year from their horse flipping scams, while also collecting public assistance and running an unregistered business (TX requires businesses to be registered with the Secretary of State).
Emily’s truck and trailer which she has multiple misdemeanor traffic convictions for driving without a license, expired registrations & no insurance.
